Glencadam - Spirit

At the visit to the Glencadam distillery recently a chance was given to taste a bit of the new make spirit at 68%. The nose has loads of notes of sweet malt and fruit.

A light citrus note combined with the vanilla, banana and green apple give it a fresh feeling. On the other side the sweet side with blackcurrants, canned cherries, bread dough and spices make it something interesting for sure.

On the palate I am getting warm baking spices, malt, vanilla, red & black summer fruit, apple, lemon, oranges, plum, apricots and a light grassy and vegetable note. Medium length sweet finish. A nice new make...
