19th day of The Whisky Advent Calender from the guys at Drink By The Dram brings The Lost Distilleries Blend - Batch 6 bottled at 49,3% and in total 534 bottles are released. The Blended Whisky Company has brought together malt whiskies from Mosstowie, Port Ellen, Glenisla, Imperial, Caperdonich, Glen Mhor and Brora, and grain whiskies from Port Dundas in this one.

The nose I find to be soft, creamy, fruity and sweet. Notes of mango, cocos, red apple, banana, oranges, cream bun, powdered sugar, clover honey, roses, cherry blossom and lemon cheese cake. Lovely rich nose... 

On the palate there is lots of fruit and sweetness going on. A hint of roasted barley, soft creamy milk chocolate, dried fruits, violets, creamy clover honey, apricots, lush cakes with lots of cream, hint of pink grapefruit, carrots, mocha and cocos. 

Long finish with sweet soft warm fruit notes lingering on for a bit, revealing some red summer fruits and crème brulee. Scoring this balanced and great dram an 8,5 out of 10. Thanks for sharing it with us Drink By The Dram!
