In the recent #CraigellachieTT Twitter Tasting by The Whisky Wire was included the 19 year old expression. A travel retail exclusive, matured in hogsheads and bottled at 46%.

It is a very rich, creamy, sweet, warming and balanced dram. That gives me on the nose creamy honey, red apple, orange, banana cake, carrot and fudge.

Soft flower notes, sweet, creamy, soft, peaches, tangerine and little hint of dark chocolate in the back. Soft fruit smoothie notes with rich vanilla.

On the palate I find a distinctive taste and smell of creamy clover honey richness. Sweet and fruit richness, ripe plums, raisin, vanilla and a hint of cocoa and baking spices in the back with cookie dough.

The finish is quite of good length, scoring me in total an 8,5 out 10. Lovely dram. Thanks for sending over this sample in the tasting to try!
