Chichibu - Kusuda - Festival Notes

This beauty we got to try at the VIP session of the WFNN festival. This is a rich, complex and full expression with a long finish.

It has been matured in a Kusuda Pinot Noir wine cask with reference #2355. Distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2015. Sadly I did not write down any notes or more details, was just enjoying it. If I remember correctly it was a bottling only available in Japan. It sounds like WhiskySpeller has to take a trip sometime out that way :-)
