At the Whisky Live The Hague festival we got a little taste of a rich expression that was bottled for the German market.
Matured in a Sauternes cask #8037 and from 2007, at 54,4% it has a rich, creamy, fruity and sweet balanced taste to it.
This one is sadly not released for the Dutch market at this moment but I am keeping my eyes open for sure for it. Lovely warm and good expression, the Sauternes works very well with their spirit.
