This one was a surprise at the masterclass and turned around at first. It is a very powerful, sweet and dark fruity dram, very nice!

Nose
Raisin, dark chocolate, rich, Christmas cake, equaliptus, strong spices, kurkumma, curry and other soft almost Indian like spices. Ginger, some dark fruits and plums.

Palate
Soft leather and some tobacco at first, then some coffee and chocolate with a hint of wood. The spices and sweetness from the nose comes back here very nicely on the palate. Vanilla, speculaas and dark summer fruits.

Finish
Medium length finish, soft fruit notes with lots of spices.

Score
Giving this one a 7,5 out of 10. Very nice dram. Even been 5 years old it feels balanced and has a lot of rich fruit notes in it. Tasted it at the masterclass, and this one I really needed to give more time then I had at that time, then I would have gotten more out of it I think. Very lovely...
