Nose
Smoky, bit thick and a lot of the same notes like the Sherry cask tasted in this tasting of Mackmyra Reserves. But filled with banana and vanilla. It is sweet, and has meaty notes in it, honey, prunes, berry, blackcurrent and green herbs.Palate
It is less meaty then the Sherry one, is a bit lighter and fruitier. Has a bit of citrus and mint notes in the back. It has a spicy and pepper note. Prunes, figs, honey...
Finish
A medium length finish, sweet and fruity.

Gave this one a 7,5 out of 10. There is a soft blanket of fruit tones and silkiness in there combined with the more heavier, peaty notes. Very nice balanced. Distilled at 22/12/2008, and bottled at 14/8/2013, at 50,6%
