Johnnie Walker - Green Label - 15YO - Tasting Notes

Nose
Coffee, oak, light smoke, vanilla, caramel. Lets me think of pipe tobacco and some anice.

Palate
Warm, sweet, oak, walnut, chocolate, honey. Some berry/summer fruit action going on a bit together with vanilla.

Finish
It is sweet at first but goes quickly to a very dry mouth if you have been chewing on a piece of wood.

Score
6 out of 10. It is a "vatted malt". The principal single malts here are Talisker, Linkwood, Cragganmore and Caol Ila. Not a bad dram, but did not like the finish at all sadly. That put the score down a bit. Have tasted this one out of a miniature bottling set, and curious to see what the other expressions will do...
