Washmunds at 48% and 42 months old
The nose reminds me of sour mash at first and off a bit unripe corn with lemon bitters. There is sweetness below it but needs a lot of time to release it. Lots of notes of chalkboard.
On the palate I find dark honey and dry wood at first, then sweet dried apricots with some creamy layers behind it. Elderflower, cranberry, vanilla, nuts, cinnamon, spices, gingerbread and soft tobacco notes.
Short finish, scoring it an 6,5/10, bit harsh feeling, not blown away by it.
