Grant's - Signature

In a recent Twitter tasting I had a chance to have a look at some of the Grant's blended expressions. The Signature is bottled at 40% and gives me at first a malty and sweet nose.

Some apples, toffee, vanilla, raisins, biscuits, mixed candied fruits, soft white pepper and some gingerbread also appear on the nose.

The palate has some hints of oak and nuts together with the fruit sweetness. Creamy vanilla, soft spices, cake, Turkish delight, honey and biscuits. Not a very long finish with a soft bitter and dry note of the wood is left on your teeth.

The dram has sweet and fruity notes and is an easy drinking dram available for around 20 euro so cant say anything about that, but not rocking my world. Scoring me a 7 out of 10.
