To mark this occasion, we have selected a very special whiskey to celebrate the Revival of distilling in Dublin. This will be limited to only 10,000 bottles and sold both through our distillery as well as our domestic and international distributors.”

#Revival #SpiritofDublinThe nose is fruity and sweet with vanilla, pink grapefruit, raisin, pear, red apple and pastry dough. It feels very balanced when taking a sip of it and makes me think of a warm apple pie straight out of the oven. Chocolate notes, creamy and rich. Pear drops, liquerish, allspice and cinnamon.
The notes from the nose and palate are very alike. It is fresh, sweet, lots of fruit sweetness from mango, orange, pineapple and apricots. Fudge, chocolate, cookie dough and sweet baking spices. It just keeps going. Very sweet, warm, white pepper, cocos, marzipan, cinnamon, ginger, rich vanilla pudding and caramel. A good length finish and scoring this balanced dram an 8,5 out of 10. It is fresh and sweet, filled with many fruit layers, that make me want to go into the kitchen and bake cakes, pies, cookies and other things....
