Wemyss Malts - 1988/2014 Invergordon - Lemon Cheesecake - Festival Notes

At Whisky Live in The Hague I got a taste of this lovely bottling from Wemyss Malts. Distilled at Invergordon in 1988 and bottled in 2014 at 46%, 220 bottles. Lovely expression that holds up to its name "Lemon Cheesecake" for sure. Creamy, fresh, citrus, sweet, vanilla, and some cookie notes. Rich notes of vanilla, sugar cane and chocolate coming to the front a bit. It is sweet, fruity fresh and creamy expression. Something to look out for and give another proper tasting done on it.
