Ultimatum Summum - 25 years old - Festival Notes

You cant go to the Pot Still Festival from van Wees and not have a taste of one of their own bottled rums. We gave the younger version of this one, Infinitum 12, to a friend once and liked that one very much.

At the festival I had a taste of the 25 year old expression. A very sweet rum, bit bitterly wood note overlay between the vanilla, fruity and hint of chocolate.

There was a dry bitter note that was a bit too strong I find. Like the younger expression more I think. For the blending of this rum they told me it was made from 14 different styles of rum made out of 8 different distilleries?
