Nose
Fruity, vanilla, pineapple, citrus, fresh, sweet, pomolo, fudge, creamy, red apple, white chocolate, mango, anice

Palate
Pepper, spice, chili pepper, honey, fudge, sweet, grapes, vanilla, fruit, orange, banana, milk chocolate and a bit liqeurish

Finish
Middle length finish, minty fresh and sweet

Score
7,5 out of 10. A fruity and sweet dram. Would go nicely with a dessert this one for sure. Had a 17 year old before and found that there were many similarities between them. Lovely dram with a good chili pepper punch on the palate at first.

We have been to Bladnoch during our travels through Scotland last year. And it is a shame that they don't produce all the time, just the couple of weeks at most each year...

Here you can find some more details on our trip over there this year. Also some more pictures of the distillery and surrounding area are to be found here...

Brought a couple of bottles home from our trip, looking forward to discovering this 'Spirit of the Lowlands' very much, so more to come, keep an eye on this blog :-)
