Corner Creek Bourbon - Tasting Notes

Nose
Leather, tobacco, vanilla, black pepper, sweet, spices, cinnamon, prunes, figs, darker/sweet fruits like blackberry, clover honey, cherry. Forest fruit, beautiful nice warm and full nose.

Palate
Caramel bitter at first, with some eucalyptus freshness following in the back. The bitter draws back quickly and there comes a warm sweet soft honey like flavour profile with again the summer fruit, and some spices also tingling.  Also some apricots and leather come around the corner. Some walnut bitter and plums.

Finish
Fades a bit quick, has a bit wood/cinnamon mouthfeel finish

Score
7 out of 10. Has a beautiful nose but the nose and palate don't seem to be in a balance. It misses a bit somewhere, it is beautiful, but just needs a little bit of something. This was a mystery dram sent to me by Shai thanks again for that one!
