Milroy's of Soho - Glen Garioch 1978 Single Cask - Tasting Notes

Nose
Spices, sweet, berry, raspberry, vanilla, pineapple, strawberry, coconut, ginger, galia melon with salty ham, bit dusty? Raisin, warm wintery spices

Palate
Oily, warm, pepper, coffee bitterness, coco butter, cacao and cinnamon dryness, light smoke? Soft, some wood notes. Sugared almonds. Bit tropical stone fruits going on in there with vanilla

Finish
Medium length, stone fruit, sweetness, honey and a bit dry cocoa? Bit tropical?

Score
It is an elegant dram and has a good, gentle, but warm body.
Gave it a 7 out of 10, it is very nice and has a lot in it, but is a bit too soft to my liking at the moment, and the price is something that also lowers it a bit...
