Bunnahabhain 2001 - 11 YO - The Whisky Cask - Tasting Notes

Nose
Fresh, fruity, sweet, strawberry's, raspberry's, and something salty in the back. Green apples, dried fruits, citrus, cardamon, cinnamon, raisin, vanilla

Palate
Warm, sweet, full notes in here. Dried fruits and apple peel come to mind first, then the sweetness of vanilla, toffee, and some fresh summer fruits come to the top. There are some spices and white pepper in the back combined with some lemon for some freshness.

Finish
Middle long finish, sweet, dried apricots and vanilla.

Score
7 out of 10. A nice gentle dram, maybe for with or after desert due to the fruity and sweet tones in it. Feels fresh, sweet, warm and balanced. Not bad at all...
