Armorik Double Maturation - Tasting Notes

Nose
Pear, apple, leather, rum raisin, bit of wood, citrus, sweet, plums, fruit, roses, ginger

Palate
Iron/metal, spice, pepper, sweet, violets, fudge, cinnamon, dry wood, sweet, vanilla, raisin, fruitcake, oily

Finish
A bit dry on the finish. Middle long finish, sweet and caramel. Also a hint of chocolate in the back combined with lemon and mint.

This one needs some time to open up, give it a 7 out of 10. Maybe have to have a closer look at this one at a later date

Tasted this one at a Twitter Tasting, and this Armorik Double Maturation is bottled at 46% ABV, and un-chilfiltered from Distillerie Warenghem. This is matured in Breton oak and finished in sherry casks.
