Glenfarclas - 17 years old - Festival Notes

At the Pot Still Festival in Amersfoort I tried some Glenfarclas expressions. This 17 year old reminded me immediately of sweet sticky toffee pudding, and some spice and dried fruits.

It was very sweet, very nice but a bit too sweet I must say.
Still a very nice dram and rich of great flavours. Maybe the festival was not the right place and this one needed to be enjoyed slowly and sitting outside sipping whisky. Have to explore it again I think :-)
