Nose
Light smoky but bit dense nose. Dense grassy notes, bit mossy, dried figs. There is some sweet fruit hiding under the moor like notes.
Palate
Sweet, vanilla, raisin, dried fruit, ash, bit honey marinated ham. Pork chops from the BBQ, bit orange and some sweet freshness coming through
Finish
Not a very long finish, mix of bit honey, chocolate, raisin and some campfire notes
Score
7 out of 10 , nose is bit closed but the palate is quite enjoyable with a very soft finish with some fresh citrus notes and mint coming through in the end. Balanced on the ash level combined with the citrus notes.
Tasted this lovely dram in the #BigPeat Twitter Tasting organized by Douglas Laing and The Whiskywire.
