Nose
Peat and buttery grassy notes, pepernoten, warm spice, lemon and soft flowery notes. Salty and a bit honey comb, blackcurrant and aniseed.

Fresh, fruity, sweet but also warm spices, light peat smoke and warm oranges. Elderflower blossom and cranberry are on this nose that keeps developing. Soft fruity, fresh and high citrus notes.

PalateSweet, raisin, vanilla and high notes of ginger bread. Citrus, chocolate, fudge, red apple, orchard fruits, very ripe pear and tropical sweet notes like pineapple and ripe banana. Chocolate, mocka and fudge with a hint of salt and liquerish in here, with fresh ginger and lemoncurd

Finish
A good length of a finish. Sweet, fudge, and honey sweet on the teeth.

Score
8 out of 10. Tasted this lovely dram in the #BigPeat Twitter Tasting organized by Douglas Laing and The Whiskywire. This was tasted as a blind dram, and were really surprised about it. Have an earlier batch at home that is different a bit, shall make some notes on that one soon.
