Mortlach 17 YO - Signatory - Tasting Notes

Nose
Sweet, vanilla, fruit, floral, peaches, red apples, caramel, lemon drops, hay, turkish fruit, pomegranate, orange zest, spearmint, ginger, pear, parma ham, creamy

Palate
Creamy, lemon sharpness, bit bitterness of orange zest, banana, roses, dried fruits, vanilla, raisin. Some fruity sweetness also in there but creamy and lemon combined are on the top here for me, like a cheesecake. Bit chocolate sprinkles in there, with some malty notes.

Finish
Middle length finish and a bit dry cocoa mouthfeel. Lemon and vanilla continue big time, and in the end there is some cinnamon and honey also.

Score
7 out of 10. Nose is soft and fresh, but the palate is a bit to sharp with lemon for me. It is very nice and needs some time to reveal it self I noticed. Lovely fresh. Thanks Shai for sharing this one with us.
